Dancing with Our Stars: Adam Heathcote
Last month, over 600 people gathered at the College of St. Benedict to support the Women’s Fund of Central Minnesota’s dance competition, Dancing with Our Stars. The dancers raised over $110,000 for their charities of choice with an additional $39,000 given to organizations from the Women’s Fund for a grand total of $151,949 going to the community to support women and girls.
Wealth Management advisor Adam Heathcote was one of the dancers participating in the event. Heathcote, along with professional dancer Rachel Trout, danced to benefit the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA’s Y Partner Scholarship Fund. They raised more than $14,000 for the event.
“It was a great experience,” said Heathcote, “I am competitive by nature, and have always been involved in athletics but dancing was a new skill for me. Rachel and I rehearsed for months for our dance, and I can now say that I have mastered the cha-cha. It was a great way to support the organizations in our community that I care so much about.”
