BerganKDV is pleased to announce the creation of a new role within the firm that will evolve its operations and increase efficiencies both within teams and across departments to support firm-wide initiatives. Lorilei Christner has been promoted to the role of Director of Process Improvement. She previously held the title of Payroll Implementation Solutions Leader within the firm’s Human Capital Management solution.
As Director of Process Improvement, Christner will lead enterprise-level initiatives that deliver short-term results and long-term sustainability in support of the firm’s business objectives. This includes partnering with senior business leaders on strategy, facilitating the implementation of the kaizen (continuous improvement) approach to BerganKDV workstreams, and spearheading a LEAN cultural transformation within the firm. She will play a key role in coaching and maintaining LEAN principles so that all solution teams are efficiently operating and discovering new ways to improve.
“Lorilei’s innovative spirit and drive make her the perfect person to fulfill this role,” said Earl Edeburn, President of BerganKDV. I look forward to seeing how she helps us incorporate and adhere to LEAN methodologies. Her influence will modernize our operations, furthering our core beliefs of forward-thinking and continuous learning as an organization. This is just another step forward toward making our Vision 2030 a reality and will positively shape our firm for years to come.”
Christner has been part of the BerganKDV team for three years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. Christner is an active member of her community through her work on the board of directors and executive board at the nonprofit, YPN (Young Parents Network) and her involvement with St. Ludmila Catholic Church.
