BerganKDV’s Director of Client Service Leighton Smith was recently named to the Corridor Business Journal’s Most Influential 2018 list which is ranked by a number of votes by CBJ readers. The poll is designed to spotlight those who have helped bring the Corridor region together and propel the community forward.
Smith is recognized for his work founding the largest-giving 100+ Who Care chapter in the world and transforming the North Liberty Food Pantry to a permanent facility serving hundreds of hungry families. Citing his grandmother as his inspiration, Smith volunteers as board chair and founder of 100+ Men Who Care: Hawkeye Chapter; Iowa Women’s Foundation board member and vice chair; North Liberty Community Pantry board chair and volunteer; and United Way Worldwide campaign team leader and 100+ hour annual volunteer.
