As part of BerganKDV’s commitment to making a difference and creating a brighter future in our communities, the firm is giving back this holiday season by donating $60,000 to nonprofit organizations on GivingTuesday. GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving that encourages people to dedicate a day to doing good, such as volunteering, supporting nonprofits and giving back to those in need.
“BerganKDV is thrilled to give back in a big way this year to incredibly deserving organizations,” said Britt Von Roden, Shareholder and Executive Director of People First at BerganKDV. “An essential part of our firm’s purpose is ensuring that our people and communities can grow and thrive. Participating in GivingTuesday continues to be a highlight initiative across the firm and we’re proud to do our part in supporting organizations that make a real impact in our world.”
BerganKDV began participating in the GivingTuesday three years ago when it decided to use the money traditionally set aside for client holiday cards and donate it to charity instead. Since then, partaking in GivingTuesday has been a highly anticipated tradition that embodies BerganKDV’s mission of helping others. This year, BerganKDV will donate $20,000 to three organizations that focus on youth and poverty, two categories that BerganKDV team members have overwhelmingly opted to donate to in the past.
