Justin Smock

As a virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO), Justin is responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of BerganKDV’s technology solutions to the end-users of his clients. He acts as the bridge between the managed IT services team at BerganKDV and client leadership to ensure the client’s technology needs are being addressed and a WOW experience is given. From weekly team huddles to client strategy meetings, Justin’s main focus is building a trusted partnership with his clients.

Justin’s passion for technology was sparked back in high school through recommendations by his teachers. From there, Justin has transitioned from network technician to server engineer and now a vCIO. Justin earned an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in network administration and engineering from Hawkeye Community College. Justin regularly gives back to his community; he has been a volunteer firefighter since 2002 with Evansdale Fire Rescue and is a member of the Cedar Valley Jaycees.
