Cedar Valley Wealth Advisor Todd Henningsen has been named a recipient of the Waterloo Courier’s class of 2020 20 Under 40 awards. In July, the Courier began seeking nominations for the award, which honors outstanding young leaders in the Cedar Valley who are making a difference in their work and personal lives to make the area a better place. Twenty men and women doing good works in the Cedar Valley were selected by a committee, whose members sorted through more than 200 nominations in the award program that’s nearing two decades of honorees.
“Todd is so deserving of this recognition,” said Cedar Valley Market Leader Crystal Ford, “He is committed to serving others. He is a top-notch wealth advisor who utilizes his investment research skills to help clients improve their financial lives. But he doesn’t stop there. Todd has mentored students who are starting out as financial analysts, he generously volunteers his time for multiple nonprofit organizations and is a devoted husband and father. I am honored to call him my colleague and my friend.”
Henningsen earned his degree in finance and real estate from the University of Northern Iowa and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder. He is a board member, treasurer and a member of the investment committee for the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, a board member for the LORAL Trust and is a member of the Cedar Valley Rotary Club and is the past Foundation Chair for the club.
