Financial Accounting Advisory Services Solution Leader Chris Gallo is a finalist for the CPA.com 2019 Innovative Practitioner of the Year award. This award is given to practitioners who embrace new strategies and technology by taking the initial steps of a long-term plan or by continually benefiting from early adoption.
Voting is now live for the award: https://www.cpa.com/innovative-practitioner-finalists-19 and closes on September 20. Winners will be announced at the Digital CPA 2019 Conference in December in Seattle, Washington.
Gallo was nominated because of the work he has accomplished building the firm’s multi-state sales and use tax filing practice, building both the process and team in anticipation of the Wayfair ruling, positioning the firm to answer the call for compliance needs from clients. He has built a multimillion-dollar practice in a year and is viewed as an authority in the sales and use tax industry.
“Chris has led the charge in the firm to ensure our clients have the information they need to stay ahead of the curve with all the changes in state sales tax codes,” said President Earl Edeburn, “Keeping up with the legislative updates across the nation can feel mindboggling for business owners. Chris has done a great job getting the tools in place to help clients navigate this everchanging tax landscape.”
