
Cedar Rapids Shareholder Eric Thuente was recently elected to the Agribusiness Association of Iowa (AAI) Board of Directors as an affiliate director. He is one of four new board members elected and will begin his duties on the board on October 1.
Thuente is a certified public accountant with more than 18 years with BerganKDV and leads a team who provides assurance services to clients in the agribusiness, manufacturing and distribution sectors. Born and raised in rural Iowa, he leans on his roots to help Iowa business owners succeed.
“Eric helps our agribusiness clients navigate the ever-changing rules for operators and owners,” said ICR Market Leader Vince Ellison, “From helping clients understand their operation’s performance against industry standards to interpreting the federal and state tax law changes, Eric gives owners and other leaders the tools to help their businesses be successful. AAI’s membership consists of more than 1,100 business locations across the state of Iowa that supply feed, seed, crop protection chemicals, grain, fertilizer, equipment and additional products and services that benefit agriculture, as a whole. Along with the Agribusiness Association of Iowa Foundation, AAI provides specific services and educational opportunities to our members as well as eight statewide business associations related to Iowa agriculture.
