The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) announced the 2022 list of Top Retirement Plan Advisors under 40 and BerganKDV’s Director of Retirement Plan Solutions, Kyle Nelson, CPFA, AIF® is among the 100 advisors named to this national list.
NAPA launched this list in 2014. Those named to the listed are referred to as “Aces”. These “Aces” are young professionals who are seen as future leaders of the retirement plan industry. Selection for the list is based on applications received from nominees designated by NAPA Broker-Dealer/RIA Firm Partners. Those applications are vetted by a blue-ribbon panel of senior advisor industry experts based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative data submitted by the nominees, as well as a broker-check review. More than 700 nominations were submitted this year.

Nelson has more than seven years of experience in the retirement plan industry, with a specialization in retirement plan consulting. At BerganKDV, he serves as a senior retirement plan advisor for clients and oversees the efforts of the Retirement Plan Solutions team at the firm. Nelson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a bachelor’s degree in information technology management. He is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®).
