BerganKDV Cedar Valley Market Leader Crystal Ford was recently appointed to the 2020 Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) Board of Directors where she will serve a two-year term.

“I am so excited to serve on the IWF board with such amazing leaders from across the state of Iowa,” said Ford, “I have such a passion for supporting women and helping take down barriers to achieving greatness.”
The IWF is committed to improving the lives of Iowa’s women and girls through a diversified mix of action and funding, including research, grantmaking, advocacy, education, and collaboration. Over the past 25 years, grants have been awarded to more than 200 organizations statewide to improve the lives of Iowa’s women and girls in all 99 Iowa counties. IWF is the only state-wide organization working to enhance and improve women’s economic self-sufficiency.
“Crystal is a natural fit for this organization,” said Director of Client Services Leighton Smith, “She is driven in her pursuit to help people and to improve the lives of those around her. The goals and principles of IWF are in perfect alignment with Crystal’s passion and beliefs. She will be a great addition to their board.”
Ford was born, raised and currently resides in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in project management from Kaplan University. Ford is active in the community and currently is the Vice President on the Cedar Falls Community Main Street Board of Directors and is a liaison to the Main Street Waterloo and College Hill Partnership Organizations.
