The Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) recently announced the category winners for the 2022 Marketing Achievement Awards. BerganKDV earned an award in the “We AAM to Serve” category for the firm’s standout community service activities over the past year. Specific events that were called out include the firm’s United Way campaign, its Giving Tuesday donation efforts, our partnership with the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund and the launch of our new recruiting campaign that reduces paper waste and plants a tree for each signup we get at job fairs. BerganKDV was also recognized for its internal efforts around mental health awareness through its annual REST Week.
Expert category judges, including professionals in marketing, advertising, communications, and professional services, reviewed and judged 71 entries. Winning entries were earned for the accomplishment of a specific goal or objective, executing a project strategically, and measurable results.
“This award is monumental for our firm,” said Britt Von Roden, People First Director at BerganKDV. “Helping others is BerganKDV’s singular mission, whether that’s in our communities, with our clients, or internally amongst teams. Community service is a pillar of our organization, and our team members are continually encouraged to volunteer and make a difference. This belief goes beyond bettering our communities though, we also strive to create a work environment that fosters self-improvement and opens conversations around employee mental health and awareness. It’s a great honor to be recognized nationally for our efforts and I know that this is only the beginning for what BerganKDV can achieve for its respective communities and for our people.”
This year, AAM’s Marketing Achievement Awards featured 23 awards in multiple categories, including advertising, branding, business development initiative, collateral and content marketing, events, marketing and PR campaigns, video and multimedia, website, corporate social responsibility and diversity, equity and inclusion.
