BerganKDV recently named Mark Oliver as Sales Leader for the Cedar Valley Market. This is a recently created position to better serve current clients and continue to grow relationships in the community.
The market leader and sales leader positions were created as a result of the firm’s one firm vision, moving away from traditional silos by service area to a new accountability structure that is focused externally on the clients and communities served by the firm. “Our mission is to empower our team and to create wow experiences for our clients,” said CEO Dave Hinnenkamp, “Our new accountability structure supports this mission and reinforces that each person has an important role to play for the overall success of the team and more importantly, the client.”
As Sales Leader, Oliver will be the external point person for growing the Cedar Valley market client base and will manage all aspects of the sales cycle from potential client to client acquisition. Oliver has been with the firm’s technology team for more than ten years, helping clients find solutions for their technology needs and is known by his clients and coworkers for being easy to work with and for his friendly and light-hearted demeanor.
A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Mark holds a degree in marketing with a focus on sales and advertising. He devotes his time to the Chamber of Commerce, serving as an Ambassador since 2008. He is also a long-time volunteer for the Boy Scouts Golf Tournament Committee. When he’s not in his office, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, cycling, golfing, landscaping and brushing up on reruns of Seinfeld.
