St. Cloud Shareholder Steve Wischmann, CPA, CFE, CFF, MAFF, CGMA, and Twin Cities Manager Michael Bösl, CPA, CFE are focusing their energy and attention exclusively on forensic and data services. Recently joining the technology solutions group at the firm, Wischmann and Bosl are helping clients with forensic accounting projects and related data analysis and risk assessments.
As Certified Fraud Examiners, Wischmann and Bösl help organizations investigate vulnerabilities and implement anti-fraud controls for secure operations. They also analyze accounting records to identify fraudulent activity and prepare the evidence to support the legal process relating to the project.

Services provided to clients include proactive fraud risk assessments, fraud investigations, data analysis implementation, and evidence room process audits for law enforcement agencies.
Wischmann received his bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University. In addition to being a CFE, Steve is certified in financial forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CFF), a master analyst in financial forensics (MAFF) by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and a chartered global management accountant (CGMA) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Bösl holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas and is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Minnesota Society of CPAs, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and volunteers for the Minnesota Society of CPAs School District Audit Review, and Tri-County Crime Stoppers.
