The Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) recently announced the category winners for the 2021 Marketing Achievement Awards. BerganKDV earned an award in the events category for the firm’s 2020 Xperience (XP) student event and how the firm transitioned XP to an all-virtual format in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic so that college students still had the opportunity to attend.
Expert category judges, including professionals in marketing, advertising, communications, and professional services, reviewed and judged more than 92 entries. Winning entries were recognized for the accomplishment of a specific goal or objective, executing a project strategically, and measurable results.
“I am thrilled that our team was recognized on a national stage for the work we put into XP last year,” said People First Director, Britt Von Roden. “We knew students needed this opportunity more than ever, so having the ability to virtually transform the event while still making it impactful and engaging was an immensely collaborative effort and I am so proud of our teams for their endless creativity that allowed us to execute the event so well.”
This year, AAM’s Marketing Achievement Awards featured 25 awards in multiple categories, including advertising, branding, business development initiative, collateral and content marketing, events, marketing and PR campaigns, video and multimedia, website, corporate social responsibility, best 2020 pivot, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
