
BerganKDV is thrilled to announce the hiring of Sailu Timbo, a new leader who will serve as Executive Director of DEI. Timbo joins the firm from a large Midwest retail company, where he served in various leadership seats for over 20 years, including leading the organization’s DEI efforts.
In his new role, Timbo will advise and partner with BerganKDV’s executive leadership and key stakeholders to develop and implement a firmwide diversity, equity and inclusion strategy. He will be a key figure in establishing and maintaining an equitable work environment and ensuring teammates across the firm have the resources and support needed to fulfill that goal. Timbo will be based out of the firm’s Des Moines office.

Timbo earned his bachelor’s degree in African American World Studies from the University of Iowa. He is an active member of his community and currently serves on the Greater Des Moines Partnership Inclusion Council.
